Freedom and peace may seem contradictory to war, but under this concept, GRS hopes to convey that military clothing may no longer be necessary for use on the battlefield. These garments, designed to withstand extreme environments and equipped with high functionality, were originally meant to provide protection and convenience to the user without any inherent aggressiveness. What war has left for modern urban dwellers should ideally be limited to just that, without the need for anything more.

Freedom & Peace collection will use military apparel structures as a blueprint to convey different underlying messages. GRS will replace traditional military fabrics with sun-faded materials to inject a sense of liveliness into the collection. They have reworked the M69 Flak vest originally designed by the U.S. military for protection against shrapnel, and the M51 parka introduced during the Korean War, now equipped with GRS's signature sun-faded fabric and added insulation, featuring "freedom" and "peace" typography stitches created by Japanese designer Miyama Yu. Additionally, the collection includes a quilted scarf that can be worn in multiple ways and comes with pockets.

自由と平和は戦争と矛盾しているように思えるかもしれませんが、このコンセプトの下で、GRSは戦場での使用に軍服がもはや必要ないことを伝えたいと考えています。極限の環境に耐えるように設計され、高機能性を備えたこれらの衣服は、もともとはユーザーに保護と便利さを提供するために作られたもので、内在的な攻撃性はありません。戦争が現代の都市生活者に残したものは、理想的にはそれだけであり、他に何も必要ありません。

Freedom & Peaceコレクションは、軍用アパレルの構造をブループリントとして使用し、異なる根底にあるメッセージを伝えます。GRSは、従来の軍用生地を日焼けした素材に置き換え、このコレクションに活気を与えます。彼らは、アメリカ軍が破片からの保護を目的に設計したM69フラックベストや、朝鮮戦争中に導入されたM51パーカを改良し、GRSの特徴である日焼けした生地と追加の断熱材を装備し、日本のデザイナー宮山優による「自由」と「平和」のタイポグラフィ刺繍を施しました。さらに、このコレクションには、様々な方法で着用でき、ポケット付きのキルティングスカーフも含まれています。
