Slub Cotton Heavy Washed Tee / Takara Black

This summer, GRS is launching a special collaborative project with AAAA (4A like Black), the creative brand led by Eric Kot. Titled "Team Takara", this collection is inspired by a fictional character named "Takara", created by Kot for his stage performance. Takara, whose name means "#" in Japanese, is imagined as a popular idol from Japan's Showa era.

The concept of the collection revolves around Takara's fictional fan club, Team Takara, and GRS has designed an entire series of "team uniforms" to reflect that. Core items include the "Kowloon Fan Club T-Shirt," made from high-quality slub cotton and featuring Takara's portrait illustration, as well as references to Kowloon and the fictional opera troupe he belongs to. The collection also includes open-collar bowling shirts and jackets inspired by 1950s-60s Rockabilly style, using a strong red, black, and white color combo. These pieces feature monogram prints built from portraits of Takara and his music group TR33, alongside GRS's iconic monochrome dragon-and-tiger over print. The jackets are crafted from premium satin fabric and finished with detailed embroidery, demonstrating GRS's attention to craftsmanship and design. When layered with the tees, the result is a bold and stylish look.
