The Inheritance
GRS collaborated with renowned Hong Kong novelist Yuyi on the novel “Kowloon Walled City - Dragon Head,” which features the “Dragon Scepter” as its main element on the cover. In the story, the “Dragon Scepter” symbolizes the inheritance of dynasties, as the protagonist, “Shin” , is entrusted with it by “Tornado” before its demise, representing him as the successor of the new generation. This symbolism signifies the passing down of power from one dynasty to the next.

About Yuyi
After the publication of his first novel, “City of Darkness,” Yuyi officially embarked on a career in the publishing industry. The novel was later adapted into a comic, with Yuyi serving as both the original author and scriptwriter. His comic adaptation of “City of Darkness” was honored with the “7th Japan International Manga Award,” making him the first Hong Kong novelist to receive this prestigious accolade.

GRSと香港の著名小説家余児が共同で制作した作品「九龍城寨-龍頭」では、小説の表紙に描かれた「龍頭棍」が主要な要素となっています。物語の中で、「龍頭棍」は王朝の継承を象徴しており、竜巻が最期に主人公の信一に手渡すことで、彼が新世代の後継者としての意味を持ちます。この象徴は、王朝の力が新たな世代に受け継がれることを意味しています。

余児について
最初の小説「九龍城寨」の出版後、余児は正式に出版業界に身を投じました。この作品は後に漫画化され、余児自身が脚本も手がけました。「九龍城寨」の漫画化は、「第7回日本国際漫画賞」を受賞し、
香港初の受賞作家となりました。
