GrowthRing & Supply (GRS) has unveiled its recent launch of Project Rising drop 5, titled “SAVE THE DRAGON”, and made a comeback building upon a 1977 Toyota Celica makeover, alongside with the illustration of a mythological creature — the dragon.

About The Drop 
Project Reborn does not only retain the significant figure from the legends — the 1977 Celica GT2000 and the dragon, but to extend the spirit “TOGETHER WE WILL RISE AGAIN” to several variations, and allow room to stand its ground in the midst of confusion. 

In this collection, it features a variety of items ranging from apparels to lifestyle accessories. As the centrepiece of the collection, the “Save The Dragon” kimono has taken the traditional-kimono styled fireman’s suit as a prototype which is used as a talisman formerly in the Meiji era (the 19the Century). The kimono is made as a special reversible coat that can be worn plain-side out and featuring the richly symbolic imagery woven on the other.

About The Product
Taking the traditional-kimono styled fireman’s suit as a prototype, the “SAVE THE DRAGON” kimono is made from the woven cotton fabric with oversized sleeves and waist tie fastening. Considering it as an alternative for everyday outerwear, the kimono is a reversible apparel in which the illustration has been crafted all over the silhouette, while remaining all black on the other side.
